This new piece came out of an idea of saving space on a table but it also has such a lovely presentation and offering of what is on the plate to reach easily. I'm happy how it turned out so lovely as a design and function.  And, of course, the kitties are so cute.
The bottom part is hand illustrated with underglaze over unglazed rustic specked clay surface. the top is glazes with glosy glaze for functionality and smooth surface to touch. 
Fired to 2220F
9.5" top diameter, 5.2" bottom diameter, 4.25" tall, 3 lbs weight. 
The mug is dishwasher and microwave safe.
note: Some tiny imperfections add to hand -made characteristics but don't affect the functionality of the mug.
